Horacki Software ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Clear Days ("the App") collects, uses, stores, and protects your information. By using Clear Days, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Important: Clear Days includes a chat feature powered by third-party AI services. By using the chat feature, you acknowledge and consent to your chat messages being transmitted to and processed by OpenRouter and their underlying AI model providers as described in this policy.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
We collect information that you voluntarily provide when using the App:
- Profile Information: Your name and any other profile details you choose to enter within the App.
- App Data: Information you enter to track your alcohol consumption, goals, progress, and related data.
- Chat Messages: Any text, questions, or information you submit through the App's chat feature.
- App Preferences: Your settings and preferences within the App.
Information Shared with Third Parties
Chat Feature and OpenRouter: When you use the chat feature in Clear Days, your chat messages are transmitted to OpenRouter, a third-party AI routing service, which may forward your messages to various AI model providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, or others) for processing.
- Your chat messages are sent to OpenRouter's servers for AI processing
- OpenRouter may route your messages to different AI providers based on availability and performance
- We do not control how OpenRouter or their AI providers process, store, or use your data once transmitted
- OpenRouter's privacy policy and terms of service govern their handling of your data
Warning: Any information you include in your chat messages—including personal details, your name, health information, or other sensitive data—will be transmitted to OpenRouter and their AI providers. We strongly advise against sharing highly sensitive personal information, financial details, or information you wish to keep strictly confidential in the chat feature.
Information NOT Automatically Shared
Your profile information (such as your name) and app tracking data are stored locally on your device and are NOT automatically sent to OpenRouter or any third party. However, if you voluntarily type or include any of this information in your chat messages, it will be transmitted to OpenRouter as part of your chat conversation.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain the App's functionality
- Enable the chat feature by transmitting your messages to AI services
- Store your tracking data and preferences locally on your device
- Sync your data across devices if you enable iCloud sync
- Improve and optimize the App experience
Data Storage and Security
Local Storage
Your profile information, tracking data, and app preferences are stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, this data is stored in your personal iCloud account, managed by Apple and protected by your Apple ID credentials.
Chat Data
Chat messages are transmitted to OpenRouter for processing. We do not permanently store your chat conversations on our servers. However, OpenRouter and their AI providers may retain chat data according to their own data retention policies, which are outside of our control.
Security Measures
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information:
- Local data remains on your device or in your personal iCloud account
- Chat transmissions use secure HTTPS connections
- We do not store your chat messages on our own servers
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted to third-party services.
Third-Party Services
Clear Days uses the following third-party services:
- OpenRouter: AI routing service that processes chat messages and may forward them to various AI model providers including but not limited to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, Mistral, and others. OpenRouter's privacy policy governs their handling of your data: https://openrouter.ai/privacy
- Apple iCloud: Optional data synchronization across your devices. Apple's privacy policy applies to iCloud services.
- Apple App Store: App distribution and in-app purchases (if applicable). Apple's privacy policy applies.

HORACKI SOFTWARE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PRIVACY PRACTICES, DATA HANDLING, DATA RETENTION, OR SECURITY MEASURES OF OPENROUTER OR ANY AI MODEL PROVIDERS. YOUR USE OF THE CHAT FEATURE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of OpenRouter or any AI providers. By using the chat feature, you acknowledge that:
- Your chat data is subject to OpenRouter's and their providers' privacy policies and terms of service
- Third parties may retain, process, or use your chat data in ways we cannot control or monitor
- AI responses are generated by third-party systems and may not be accurate, appropriate, or suitable for your needs
- You should not rely on AI chat responses for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice
Health Information Disclaimer
CLEAR DAYS IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE AND DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE. THE APP AND ITS CHAT FEATURE ARE FOR INFORMATIONAL AND MOTIVATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
Any information provided through the App or chat feature should not be considered medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical concerns, especially regarding alcohol use, addiction, or mental health. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information obtained through this App.
Information We Do NOT Collect
We do NOT collect:
- Location data
- Device identifiers for advertising purposes
- Usage analytics or behavioral tracking data sent to our servers
- Any data for third-party advertising purposes
Children's Privacy
Clear Days is not intended for use by children under 17 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 17, we will take steps to delete such information.
Your Rights and Choices
You have control over your data:
- Access: All locally stored data is accessible within the App
- Deletion: You can delete your local data at any time by removing content within the App or uninstalling the App
- Chat Feature: You can choose not to use the chat feature to avoid data transmission to third parties
- iCloud Control: You can disable iCloud sync at any time in your device settings
Note: We cannot delete data that has already been transmitted to and stored by OpenRouter or their AI providers. You must contact those services directly regarding their data retention and deletion policies.
Data Retention
Local Data: Retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.
Chat Data: We do not retain chat data on our servers. OpenRouter and their AI providers may retain chat data according to their own policies, which are outside our control.
International Users
If you are accessing Clear Days from outside the United States, please be aware that your chat data may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where OpenRouter and their AI providers operate. By using the chat feature, you consent to this transfer.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, through the App or other reasonable means.
Your continued use of Clear Days after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
